Our 2020 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay Musqué is the result of a new wine created 4 years ago using our Musque grapes, a clone of Chardonnay normally used to make sweet wines. We used traditional barrel fermentation and aging which has created a most spectacular, bone-dry white wine.
The grapes were hand picked and whole cluster pressed while still cool from the night air. Naturally fermented and aged in French oak for 12 months, this bold example of Musqué will give you a rare glimpse of a savoury new wine.
You may experience notes of vanilla, caramel, toast and minerality.
This wine pairs well with triple cream brie with quince, pasta carbonara and aged cheddar.
This wine has a limited supply of only 20 cases, making a truly remarkable experience. Drink now or over the 4 years.
