The 2018 growing season proved to be one of finesse in Ontario and particularly in the Lake Erie North Shore growing region. The warm and sunny climatic conditions allowed for slow and even maturation of our Cabernet Sauvignon.
The nose of this wine presents dark ripe fruit and old leather laced with a hint of eucalyptus.
The palate experiences black plums and pepper notes with a slight smoky finish.
Pair this wine with BBQ meats and a cherry glaze, medium rare beef or smoky pulled pork.
We have made only 350 cases of this wine, drink now or over the next 3-5 years.
