Lake Erie North Shore saw ideal growing conditions: an abundance of sunshine and just enough rain when needed. It was the driest summer in 10 years, which meant little to no humidity or disease pressure. This allowed for full maturation and good concentration of the juice.
The nose of this wine presents cranberry.
The palate bursts with notes of cherry and a black pepper and cocoa finish.
Pair this with mushroom tarts, root vegetable ragout and duck dishes.
Enjoy!
